The graphics card is an essential component and when a new, demanding game comes out it can almost become an essential upgrade. But with so many options around why not let us help find you the best graphics card deals right now?
It’s the part of your rig responsible for pumping out pixels and if you’re not getting the smooth frame rates you deserve in Dark Souls III or Hitman, then it’s time to look for a new GPU. These are tricky times to decide on what GPU to buy, however, as new graphics cards are set to hit the shelves later this summer, but that means older stock is going to need to be shifted by those retailers...
Our guide to the best graphics card will tell you all you need to know about which video card is best for your needs but if you're after the absolute best graphics card deals around right now we’ve got you covered with our regularly updated deals page.
Some highlights this week: The outright best deal this month has to be that Powercolor R9 380 over at Newegg. It's the more powerful 4GB version, giving you a better shot at 1440p gaming.
And we can't help but love the fact you can now turn any off the shelf PC into a 1080p gaming PC with the GTX 750Ti for less than $85. Bargain.
- Our favorite all-round GPU at the moment is still Nvidia's GTX 970 and the overclocked MSI GTX 970 is available, with a free copy of The Division, for just $279.99AR at Newegg right now.
- The competing Radeon option has crept above the $300 mark again, but the best value option we've found is the Gigabyte G1 Gaming R9 390. You can save $20 picking it up for $309.99AR at Amazon.
- The price of the mighty little GTX 750 Ti is still dropping, and with a manufacturer's rebate the Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti is the bargain price of just $84.99AR at Amazon.
- The 4GB version of the Powercolor R9 380 is looking like a great deal right now too, with it's impressive gaming performance available for just $164.99AR at Newegg.
- But if your blood runs Nvidia green though the overclocked 4GB EVGA GTX 960 SuperSC can be picked up for £194.99AR over at NCIXUS.
In our guide to the best graphics card we’ve detailed the three best GPUs in terms of the overall price/performance hero, the best high-end GPU for 4K and the best budget gaming video card too.
And here are the best prices we've found for each today...
"The GTX 970's overall performance is fantastic for the price. For most gamers, we still think this is the best value available."
"Why the GTX 980 Ti? Because at $650, it delivers nearly all of the performance of the $1000 Titan X."
"It's capable of delivering over 30 frames per second in Grand Theft Auto 5 at 1080p, 40+ fps in Shadow of Mordor and well over 60 fps in BioShock Infinite, all at ultra settings. Pretty damn good for a $200 card."
