This is the third and last video in Crystal Dynamic's Women Vs Wild series, in which we finally get to look inside some actual tombs. A new "translation system" will let you to discover Tombs off the beaten path, which will feature traps, environmental puzzles and combat sections.
There are a few highlights worth picking out. The bit where Lara fires an arrow into a wall which she then uses as a platform looks fun, though that will likely only be possible in very specific areas. The promise of tombs with "exotic themes" is interesting—the clockwork one in the video seems like a nice change from the usual dusty ancient statues aesthetic. I like that completing the optional tombs provides will provide significant rewards, too. I remember reaching the end of a massive tomb only to receive some xp and an achievement being distinctly underwhelming in the last game.
You can watch the first 'Woman Vs Wild' video here and the second here, which focus on environments and combat respectively.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is out next week on Xbox One, but sadly we'll have to wait until "early 2016" for the PC version.
