To see how far Black Friday deals go, we decided to see if we could piece together a PC using components on sale for more than an hour. Not every dream component is on sale, and some better components might be available through lightning deals, but here’s something I scrounged together without hours and hours of digging or refreshing the page every minute. It’s a damn powerful PC, and the savings get you two new games (Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Rainbow Six Siege) for free on the side.

That’s a nearly $800 difference, though this is a mid-to-high-end PC. Most of these components could be swapped out for something a little less powerful or with half the space to save even more at the cost of performance.
