We're one week away from the PC Gaming Show

By the look of our countdown clock, we're seven days away from the PC Gaming Show, E3's first-ever PC event. The PC Gaming Show is one of the biggest things we've has ever attempted, and organizing it over the past six months has been a huge undertaking for us. I'm proud that we've been able to fit in so many great developers into our two-hour livestream—Dean Hall, Fullbright, CCP, AMD, Tripwire, Bohemia, Paradox, Obsidian, and others. We really want this to be the E3 event that PC gaming deserves, and that this will become a meeting point for our hobby for years to come.

While you're here, let me share a two new details about the event: Blizzard will be revealing new stuff from Heroes of the Storm and StarCraft II during their time on stage, and Square Enix will be bringing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided to talk about.

Let me also answer a few FAQs about the event:

When is it?

The venue doors open to press and attendees at 5 PM PDT next Tuesday, June 16. At that point we'll be switching on the PC Gamer livestream and launching a 1-hour countdown clock paired with music from Disasterpeace and some fun PC gaming trivia. The stage show itself is scheduled to start at exactly 6 PM PDT. Click here to see what time that is in your local time zone.

RSVP to our Facebook event for the show if you want a reminder.

Where can I watch it?

Live on twitch.tv/pcgamer. If you can't watch live, don't worry! We'll have stories from the show popping up on our website and Twitter feed in real-time. The full video (and individual segments) from the PC Gaming Show will be on our YouTube channel the following day. We also have a hashtag, #pcgamingshow, if you like those.

What will the show be like?

Imagine a Conan O'Brien-style late-nite talk show all about PC gaming hosted by the ever-amiable Sean 'Day9' Plott, with a sprinkling of new game reveals, trailers, and unscripted conversations.

Can I come?

Like E3 itself, the PC Gaming Show isn't meant as a public event. We did, though, make room to give out tickets to 20 lucky readers. We're very close to capacity for the event, but if you're a member of the gaming press you can register for entry on the PC Gaming Show website.
